You're pretty good....

Its time for another top 5 list. This week it is about my favourite Boss Fights.
#5 is one of the saddest boss fights of all time. If you've played Dark Souls you'll know why. At #2 we see Sif, the Great Grey Wolf. Firstly he is a wolf, and they are awesome. Secondly he is only honouring his dead master and trying to stop you from befalling the same fate. Finally when Sif is nearly dead, he starts limping. Sure you needed the ring but it is still a sad boss fight.

#4 is weird. It's one of my favourite bosses who is from one of my least favourite games. I wasn't really a big fan of Far Cry 3 but Vaas is one of the most likeable bosses. Sure he kidnaps you and tries to kill you 3 or 4 times but he is still one of my favourite bosses. There is just something about his level of crazy that makes him a good boss and when you have to kill him it is creative and weird.

#3 is the very first boss battle I played. The giant snake from Resident Evil 1. It turns out it's name is "Yawn" and though it may not be the toughest boss around, when I was a kid it was tough. I mean, it killed (or almost depending on your puzzle skills) one S.T.A.R.S member and it probably killed you multiple times before you learned how to beat it.

#2 is The Joker from Arkham City. The Joker is one of the most iconic villains in Comics, Movies and Video Games. So it was sad when you killed the Joker in Arkham City. We love to hate The Joker and Batman is nothing without The Joker. It was a big shame to see the guy die but you know, he carries on in Batman's nightmares. Also the battle is crazy, so many grunts that throw things at you and on occasion, cars come flying out of the gates.

#1 is kind of obvious. I'm a big Metal Gear Solid fan. So my favourite boss fight is the fight with The Boss. It was a master piece of a fight. You and your mentor. 10 minutes to defeat The Boss. All your training from other the other boss fights come together for this last fight. Snake picks loyalty for his country over his mentor to later learn the truth and abandon the USA.

I'd love to mention Deus Ex: Human Revolution but the boss battles were poorly made and to beat them you had to be cheesy.

This weeks song is "Ultimate" by the very talented DaPlaque. DaPlaque is only about 18 and he already makes better EDM music than most professionals in my opinion. This is his debut song with a record label. Check it out below and until next week.
